Accountant

RESPONSIBILITIES

• •Ensure accurate and efficient bookkeeping, including managing accounts payable and receivable;

• •Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports to accurately reflect the company's financial status;

• •Perform bank reconciliations and manage cash flow to optimize liquidity;

• •Handle the company's tax obligations, including preparing and submitting tax returns (including GST-QST, tire levy, insurance taxes, etc.);

• •Process quarterly luxury tax remittances;

• •Supervise accounting technicians and clerks;

• •Conduct analysis of accounting schedules;

• •Manage payroll and ensure compliance with accounting entries;

• •Track prepaid expenses and asset depreciation;

• •Collaborate with various departments for precise and proactive budget management;

• •Initiate and participate in the continuous improvement of the company's accounting and financial processes;

• •Monitor payments and collections to ensure effective cash management;

• •Play a key role in monthly and annual closing procedures, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial information.

REQUIREMENTS

• •Degree in accounting or a related field, confirming expertise in accounting;

• •Solid professional experience in automotive accounting;

• •Advanced computer skills and proficiency in automotive accounting software like Serti;

• •Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of initiative;

• •Precision, rigor, and keen attention to detail to ensure the integrity of financial data;

• •Excellent organizational and time management skills, essential for meeting accounting deadlines.
